Our client is seeking a practical and motivated Soil Technician to join their established geotechnical team.
Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you will be involved in a diverse range of projects including roads, subdivisions, commercial developments, renewable energy and infrastructure works.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys field-based work, has strong attention to detail and wants to build a long-term career within the geotechnical and construction industry.Your recent role Reporting to the Geotechnical Manager, you will be responsible for:Conducting field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates and construction materialsCarrying out site investigations and earthworks testingSampling materials and recording accurate test resultsPreparing field reports and maintaining testing documentationMonitoring construction compliance against project specificationsOperating testing equipment safely and efficientlyWorking closely with engineers, contractors and project stakeholdersTravelling to project sites across Tasmania as requiredWhat you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role,
