is a locally owned Victoria business specialising in the service, maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

We are looking for a
qualified Electrician residing in Melbourne
to join our Crane Services team.
n
The role will support our
clients throughout Victoria
, as well as
mine sites, refineries and other customers across surrounding states TAS / SA / NT
, with regular work in Melbourne to work alongside our broader team.
n
If you enjoy
fault finding, problem solving and hands‐on technical work
, this is an opportunity to use your electrical skills in a specialised and varied field.
n
Previous crane experience is highly regarded but
not essential
. If you're a capable electrician with a willingness to learn, our experienced team will support you in developing the additional skills and knowledge required.

The Role n
Your work will include:
n
n
Inspecting, servicing and repairing overhead cranes and hoists
n
Electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs
n
Working with motors, control circuits, contactors, VSDs and associated equipment
n
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
n
Preventative maintenance and safety inspections
n
Developing mechanical knowledge of cranes and lifting equipment
n
Preparing job reports and repair recommendations
n
Working directly with customers across VIC / TAS / SA / NT, refinery sites and mine sites
n
Regular travel interstate to work with our wider Crane Services team
n
What We're Looking For n
You'll need:
n
n
Australian recognised electrical trade qualification
n
Current A Grade Electrical Licence
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Good electrical fault‐finding skills
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
Strong commitment to safety
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Willingness to travel and work overtime when required
n
n
The following would be an advantage:
n
n
Overhead crane or hoist experience
n
Industrial electrical experience
n
Mechanical aptitude
n
Working at Heights Certificate
n
EWP High Risk Work Licence
n
Dogging and or Rigging Licence
n
n
Crane experience isn't essential.
We're looking for a good electrician who is interested in broadening their skills and developing experience in a specialised area of the trade.
