Experienced Payroll Specialist required for a 6‐month contract, based in the Hobart CBD.Your new company A well-established, large and complex organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary basis.
This role has been created to provide hands-on payroll support, with a strong focus on data remediation and long service leave remediation calculations.
Based in the Hobart CBD, this opportunity will suit an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working through complex historical data and applying detailed, line-by-line calculations to resolve payroll issues.Your new role You will be responsible for:End-to-end payroll processing support within a complex environmentInvestigating and resolving payroll data issuesPerforming long service leave, remediation and redundancy calculationsWorking through fragmented or incomplete payroll data, applying detailed line-by-line calculationsSupporting remediation payments and corrections in line with legislative and award requirementsLiaising with internal stakeholders to validate payroll data and outcomesEnsuring accuracy,
