This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a natural eye for detail and takes pride in helping people make confident purchasing decisions.
n

You'll work with a diverse customer base, taking the time to understand their needs, guide them through suitable product options and deliver a professional, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful showroom experience.

n
As a Showroom Consultant, you'll manage customer enquiries from the initial conversation through to product selection, quoting and order follow-up.
n
n
Your responsibilities will include:

n
n
Welcoming customers into the showroom and understanding their project requirements, preferences and budget.
n
n
n
Providing advice across a wide array of products.
n

Helping customers compare options and select products that work together.

Building strong relationships with a diverse range of customers and industry contacts.

Maintaining regular contact with customers throughout the purchasing process.

Developing strong product knowledge so you can provide increasingly confident advice.

n
n
Identifying opportunities to grow sales while maintaining a service-led approach.
n
n
n
nWhat we're looking for n
n
Previous experience in showroom sales, building products or a related customer‐facing environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
n
n
We're more interested in finding someone with solid customer service, sales capability and the willingness to learn.
n
n
You may currently work in areas such as:
n
n
Showroom sales | Furniture | Tiles | Flooring | Kitchens | Bathrooms | Home improvement | Hardware | Building products | Retail sales | Interior products
n
n
You'll likely be a strong fit if you:
n
n
n
n
n
genuinely enjoy working with customers;
n
n
n
can build rapport quickly with different types of people;
n
n
n
are confident asking questions and understanding customer needs;
n
n
n
have a consultative approach to sales rather than a transactional one;
n
n
n
are organised and comfortable managing several customer enquiries at once;
n
n
n
pay attention to detail and follow things through;
n
n
n
are comfortable preparing quotes and working with computer systems;
n
n
n
enjoy being part of a practical, down-to‐earth team; and
n
n
n
are willing to learn a broad product range.
n
n
n
n
Experience dealing with customers making higher value purchasing decisions would be particularly valuable.
n
nWhy consider this opportunity? n
n
This is an opportunity to join a well‐established national organisation with a strong presence across the broader building and residential products market.
n
n
You'll have the opportunity to develop substantial product knowledge, work with a diverse customer base and build skills that can lead to future opportunities across sales, branch operations, account management and leadership.
n
n
For someone who enjoys helping customers and wants more depth than a traditional retail role, this offers a strong combination of customer service, product knowledge and relationship‐based sales.
