Joining a collaborative finance team, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to influence funding decisions and contribute to key Commonwealth Budget outcomes.Your new role As an APS6/EL1 External Budget Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the agency through major budget milestones, including Budget, Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO) and Estimates processes.Key responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining budget estimates, forecasts and financial modelsManaging agency reporting through the Central Budget Management System (CBMS)Supporting the preparation of Portfolio Budget Statements and Additional Estimates documentationAssisting with New Policy Proposals, Cabinet costings and funding submissionsPreparing briefings, executive reporting and Senate Estimates materialProviding strategic budget advice to business areas and senior stakeholdersLiaising with central agencies and internal stakeholders on budget mattersAnalysing financial information to identify risks,
