Temporary Contract until May **** | Robina QLDYour new company An exciting chance is available for experienced Accounts Payable Officers to join a Queensland Government team during a major finance transformation project.
As part of the transition to SAP S/4HANA and the return of finance and procurement functions to individual departments, several temporary positions have become available to support business operations through this period of change.Your new role As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for supporting high-volume transactional finance activities and ensuring the efficient processing of accounts payable functions.
Your duties will include:Processing and validating supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyManaging purchase orders and assisting with purchase order administrationProcessing goods receipts and resolving invoice matching issuesSupporting accounts payable administration and payment processing activitiesMaintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrityAssisting with finance-related enquiries and stakeholder correspondenceContributing to the smooth operation of daily finance processes within a busy team environmentWhat you'll need to succeed Previous experience in Accounts Payable,
Finance Administration or a similar transactional finance role Strong invoice processing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Experience working in high-volume processing environments Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience using ERP or finance systems.
