About the Role: n
We are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for an urgent contract opportunity with a food manufacturing business in Gympie. Working full time and fully on site, you will support the finance team through to Christmas.
Key responsibilities include: n
n
Month end close, journals and accruals
n
Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
n
P&L; reporting and variance analysis
n
Inventory reconciliations and stock valuation
n
Fixed asset accounting
n
Audit, BAS and compliance support
n
Manufacturing cost and operational variance analysis
n
You will ideally have: n
n
Strong Financial Accounting experience
n
Solid month end and balance sheet capability
n
Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
n
Confidence working across finance and operational teams
n
Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure would be advantageous
n
CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded
n
On Offer: n
n
Up to $90 per hour + super, dependent on experience
n
Immediate start
n
Full-time contract through to Christmas
n
Fully on site in Gympie
n
Open to more senior candidates who have proven ability to be hands on
