Lead the workforce planning team responsible for rostering and training planning across Australia,New Zealandand international operations.
Influence workforce decisions that directlyimpactcrew experience, operationalperformance,complianceandnetwork resilience.
Build and empower a high‐performing team culture whereaccountability,ownershipanddevelopment drive exceptional results.
As theManager, Roster & Training (Tech),you'lllead the team responsible for delivering the monthly Pilot roster and training build that supports more than 2,000 crew acrossAustralia,NewZealandandinternational operations.
The decisions made by your team have a direct impact on operational performance, crewexperience,complianceandthe overall resilience of the Jetstar network.
This is a highly influential leadership role whereyou'llcombine workforce planningexpertise,operationaldecision‐makingand people leadership to build rosters that balance the needs of our crew with the demands of a dynamic airline operation.
Working closely with the Pilot leadership team,



Workforce Planning peers and frontline crew,you'llhelp shape workforce outcomes that enable safe,reliableand efficient operations every day.
Beyond delivering great planning outcomes,you'llplay a key role in building an empowered and high‐performing team culture,developingcapabilityandcreating an environment where people are trusted to take ownership and deliver results.
The core responsibilities of this role will be:
Lead the end‐to‐end delivery of the monthly Pilot roster and training build, ensuring rostersareoptimised,compliantanddelivered on time.
Guideworkforce planning decisions that balance operational resilience, crew engagement, costefficiencyand regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop the Roster Planning and Training Planning teams, buildingcapability,accountabilityandsuccession strength.
Foster an empowered team environment where individuals are trusted to make decisions, solveproblemsand deliver outcomes.
Build strong partnerships with the Pilot leadership team and key operational stakeholders to influence workforce planning outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
Engage with frontline crew through forums and focus groups, ensuring planning decisions are informed by operational realities and crew feedback.
Drive improvements to rostering, training planning and workforce planning processes to support operational performance and crew experience.

To be considered, key skills will include:
Demonstrated experience in workforce planning,rostering,schedulingorresource planning within a complex operational workplace.
Solid analytical capability, with the ability to interpretdata,identifytrendsandmake informed operational decisions.
Provenpeopleleadershipexperience, witha track recordof building engaged, accountable and high‐performing teams.
A coaching leadership style, with the ability to develop capability and empower others rather than becoming the solution to every challenge.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across frontline and leadership groups.
Experienceoperatingina fast‐paced environment with competing priorities, tightdeadlinesand changing operational requirements.
A strong understanding of workforce compliance,EnterpriseAgreementsorsimilar industrial frameworks.
Experience within aviation,airlineoperationsorworkforce‐intensive industries will be highly regarded.
