We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused HV Electrician with hands‐on maintenance and fault‐finding experience on Komatsu 830E and 930E haul trucks to join our maintenance team.
n
nAbout the role n
n
You'll help keep mining equipment operating safely and reliably, working alongside maintenance and operations teams to diagnose faults, complete repairs and minimise downtime.
n
nKey responsibilities: n
n
n
n
Carry out scheduled and breakdown maintenance, electrical fault finding and repairs on Komatsu 830E and 930E haul trucks and associated mobile plant.
n
n
Inspect,



maintain and repair HV electrical systems in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements.
n
n
Conduct HV switching operations within your authorisations and site requirements.
n
n
Complete accurate inspection reports and maintenance records using site maintenance management systems.
n
n
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
n
n
Work closely with the wider team to deliver safe, productive maintenance outcomes.
n

nWhat you'll need: n
n
n
n
Relevant electrical trade qualification and current electrical licence.
n
n
Current HV switching qualification.
n
n
Proven experience maintaining and diagnosing electrical faults on
Komatsu 830E and 930E haul trucks
.
n
n
A strong background in mining maintenance and sound knowledge of mobile and fixed plant electrical systems.
n
n
Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.
n
n
A strong commitment to safety, clear communication and a practical approach to problem solving.
n
