We are seekingaWintel Infrastructure Engineerto join a team supporting critical government environments.
This will be a12-month fixed-term contract with extension options, based inACT or VICand workingonsite.
The role is suited to experienced Wintel professionals with a strong focus on enterprise infrastructure, cyber security and secure system administration.
What You'll Do
Implement and maintain security controls across enterprise Wintel environments.
Support initiatives to uplift the security posture of Australian Government systems.
Develop and maintain SOPs, security procedures and administrative processes.
Participate in technical workshops focused on infrastructure design, security and remediation.
Prototype and test security configurations to support technical advice and recommendations.
Contribute to the implementation of Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
Automate system administration and vulnerability assessment tasks through scripting and application development.
Assist with identifying, assessing and remediating cyber security risks across enterprise environments.
What You'll Bring
Extensive technical cyber security experience,
ideally within enterprise environments.
Solid Wintel infrastructure experience with a focus on secure enterprise systems.
Demonstrated experience implementing one or moreEssential Eightmitigation strategies.
Experience with scripting or application development to automate administration, vulnerability assessment or cyber security tasks.
Experience working with cloud platforms such asAzure or AWSis desirable.
Experience identifying and remediating risks associated withActive Directory compromisesis desirable.
Current NV2 or TSPV security clearance- this must be held at the time of submission.
Ability to work onsite inACT or VIC.
