The Role: As our Floor Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing, installing and finishing flooring systems across a range of residential and commercial projects.
n
n
You will work with concrete surfaces, resilient flooring materials, resin flooring systems and self-levelling products to achieve the required floor levels, falls and finishes.
n
nResponsibilities:
n
n
n
n
Measuring floor areas, reviewing plans and specifications, and calculating flooring and finishing materials required.
n
n
Preparing floor surfaces by grinding, cleaning, removing coatings, contaminants and existing materials, and rectifying cracks and uneven areas.
n
n
Measuring, cutting and installing underlay,



resilient flooring and other suitable floor covering materials over prepared surfaces.
n
n
Laying and securing floor coverings, including matching patterns, cutting around fixtures and penetrations, and fitting appropriate edge trims.
n
n
Mixing and applying resin flooring systems, self-levelling compounds and associated flooring products to achieve required levels, falls and finishes.
n
n
Grinding, smoothing and polishing concrete flooring surfaces where required to achieve the specified finish.
n
n
Installing flooring and associated surface finishes to adjoining areas, including upstands, walls, benches and similar surfaces where required.
