The Opportunity n
As the Project Manager, you'll join a supportive team where each PM runs a portfolio of projects with the assistance of a dedicated Contracts Administrator, and you'll be responsible for managing both the client relationship and project delivery through to a smooth handover.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Develop comprehensive construction project plans, schedules, and budgets.
n
Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
n
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to define project requirements.
n
Oversee daily construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to plans and timelines.
n
Supervise subcontractors,



site crews, and suppliers to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
n
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
n
Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
n
Monitor expenses, control costs, and manage change orders.
n
Approve vendor and subcontractor invoices and ensure proper documentation.
n
Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
n
Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
n
Maintain detailed project documentation, including logs, reports, and records.
n
The Ideal Candidate n
n
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager for a Head Contractor / Residential Builder in Australia.
n
Medium Density housing experience highly regarded.
n
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management essential.
n
Knowledge of the VIC construction market and subcontractors.
n
Well-presented with solid communication skills.
n
Current Driver's Licence.
