You will have a strong understanding of safety systems, including isolation and high-risk work practices knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment and high-pressure water blasting / hosing.
The Role & About You:
n
n
Safely operate high pressure water equipment for cleaning plant equipment, and work areas during down days and as required
n
Perform cleaning, product removal, and clearing of blockages to support maintenance and production efficiency
n
Ensure equipment and plant areas are properly prepared for maintenance activities during shutdowns
n
Monitor the flow of raw materials and products into machines, adjusting valves and controls to specifications
n
Operate concrete mixing, stacking, and splitting machines
n
Set up and install molds and other machine fixtures
n
Collect and examine samples for conformity to specifications and adjust machine settings accordingly
n




Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed
n
Maintain high housekeeping standards before, during, and after high pressure cleaning activities
n
Skills & Experience:
n
n
Valid Forklift License highly regarded
n
Class A high pressure cleaner experience, over 10K PSI
n
Experience within a high-risk equipment environment
n
Ability to safely operate high pressure water equipment
n
Demonstrated understanding of workplace safety, particularly in high-risk environments
n
Capable of working a rotating shift roster, including downtime/shutdown periods
n
Robust time management and ability to work under pressure during shutdowns
n
Team-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
Computer literate (data entry, MS Excel)
n
Operate a high-pressure water jetting system (Class A High Pressure Water) MSMWJ304 training preferred
n
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
n
Experience working during shutdowns/down days or maintenance activities (desirable)
n
Previous experience using high pressure water equipment in an industrial setting (desirable)
n
Experience in a quality assurance environment
n
