an Australian instrumentation solutions provider specialising in the sales, servicing, repair, calibration and installation of electronic instruments.
n
n
The company supports clients across manufacturing, engineering, mining, petrochemical, food production, aviation, medical, laboratory, pharmaceutical and warehousing environments. As an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker at ZENITH SALES & CALIBRATIONS PTY. LTD., you will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, repairing and calibrating electronic instruments and control equipment used across diverse customer operations.
Responsibilities and Tasks: n
n
Install, configure and commission electronic instruments, control systems and related equipment at customer sites and workshop facilities.
n
Inspect, test and calibrate electronic measuring and control instruments to confirm accuracy and compliance with applicable specifications and standards.
n
Diagnose faults in electronic systems, circuits, sensors and instrumentation using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
n
Repair, replace and adjust defective electronic components, wiring, assemblies and instrument parts to restore reliable operation.
n
Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on instruments used in manufacturing, mining, petrochemical,
food, medical, laboratory and warehousing applications.
n
Interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, service manuals and manufacturer specifications when completing installation, maintenance and repair work.
n
Prepare and maintain accurate calibration certificates, service reports, maintenance records and repair documentation for customers and internal quality systems.
n
Provide technical advice, equipment demonstrations and practical guidance to customers on the safe operation and ongoing care of instrumentation.
n
Coordinate with sales and service personnel to assess customer requirements, resolve technical issues and support suitable instrumentation solutions.
n
Follow workplace health and safety procedures, industry regulations and company quality requirements during all workshop and in office activities.
n
Qualifications and Skills: n
n
Relevant qualification.
n
Minimum 1 year experience as an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker.
n
Strong knowledge of electronic systems, circuits, sensors, instrumentation and control equipment.
n
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, electronic test equipment and calibration instruments.
n
Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and technical documentation skills with close attention to detail.
n
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while providing professional customer service.
n
Sound understanding of safety requirements, quality procedures and industry standards relevant to electronic instrumentation.
n
n
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
