Factory Fabricator – Aluminium Windows & Doors n
Double Glazed Architectural Windows (DGAW) is seeking a reliable and experienced
Factory Fabricator
to join our growing team in South Geelong.
About the Role n
This is a full-time factory-based position involving the fabrication and assembly of aluminium windows and doors from supplied drawings and cutting lists.

Fabricating aluminium windows and doors to supplied drawings and specifications
n
Cutting, machining and preparing aluminium profiles
n
Assembling window and door frames, sashes and panels
n
Installing hardware, locks, rollers, hinges and associated components
n
Glazing and preparing completed units where required
n
Checking measurements, squareness, operation and overall finish
n
Reading fabrication drawings, cutting lists and job sheets
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and protected work area
n
Working closely with our factory and installation teams to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Has experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors, or similar manufacturing experience
n
Can confidently use hand tools,



power tools and factory machinery
n
Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their workmanship
n
Can accurately read measurements and fabrication drawings
n
Works well both independently and as part of a teamIs reliable, punctual and organised
n
Understands the importance of quality control and workplace safety
n
n
Experience with
Alspec window and door systems
would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right applicant.
