Our highly respected team of doctors offer a wide range of high-quality medical services including skin cancer screening, travel medicine, and much more. Our mission is to provide patients with a comfortable environment to communicate their concerns, to promote preventative medicine and to support chronic disease management.

We are looking to grow our highly valued nurse team and are looking for someone to work in our clinics based in the South East Suburbs (& very occasionally at one of our clinics in the Eastern suburbs).

Rostered shifts range between the hours of 8am-6pm.
n
Experienced GP nurses or those passionate about moving into a career in primary care are encouraged to apply. You will be supported to develop your skills & become a valued member of our team.

The Role n
Tasks will focus around CDM and Health Assessment and treatment room general nursing duties working closely with our GP's, including:
n
n
Wound care management, dressing changes, assisting with procedures, assisting with IUD procedures etc.
n
Participate in patient care planning, health assessments & education
n
Immunisations (adult & paediatric)
n
Procedures (e.g. iron infusion
cannulation/observation,
ear syringing)
n




Maintaining accurate & comprehensive medical records
n
Patient education, support and building links to the community
n
Sterilisation of instruments and infection control measures
n
Contributing process to maintain practice accreditation
n
Stock maintenance and ordering and other minor reception duties
n
Cold chain management
n
Recalls & reminders
n
Required Knowledge and Experience n
The successful applicant will have:
n
n
Current AHPRA Registration
n
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
n
Able to provide quality patient care to people with complex needs
n
Able to work autonomously & as part of a team, with the skills to prioritise workloads and complete all tasks in a busy environment
n
Experience with Best Practice (desirable but not essential)
n
Valid Australian work authorisation with no restrictions is required for this position
n
Current Driver's licence and own car
