Are you a reliable and safety-focused Trade Assistant who enjoys working in a hands-on maintenance environment? Thiess is seeking motivated Trade Assistants to join our high-performing team at Curragh North Coal Project, located 10km north of Blackwater in the Bowen Basin.
n
As a key member of the Curragh North Maintenance team, you'll play an key role in supporting safe and efficient maintenance activities across the operation while contributing to a strong safety culture and high housekeeping standards.

7/7 Day & Night Rotating

As the Trade Assistant, you will:
n
n
Support tradespeople with workshop repairs, maintenance activities and general workshop tasks
n
Assist stores personnel with inventory management and warehouse operations
n
Complete general site maintenance activities including mowing, spraying and minor repairs
n
Maintain high housekeeping standards across all workshop and operational areas
n
Demonstrate a positive, safety-focused attitude while contributing to team success
n
About you n
n
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant within mining, heavy industry or construction environments (highly regarded)
n
Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
n
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and support multiple maintenance functions
n

HR Driver Licence

Current Forklift Licence (LF)

Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
