Shift n
Monday to Friday
n
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Day Shift)
Pay Rate n
$***** per hour + Superannuation
Duties and Responsibilities n
n
Operate a counterbalance forklift
n
Unloading ambient & chilled trucks, inspecting deliveries, receipting and put away deliveries.
n
Move raw materials, ingredients, and finished products throughout the warehouse and production areas
n
Perform RF scanning, receiving, dispatching, stock checks, inspections, and required paperwork.
n
Returning left over materials to Warehouse (Wrapping, Labelling, Counting, Transferring & Storing Away)
n
Using machinery to assist with Warehouse requirements (Pallet Inverting Machine & Robot Palletiser).
n
Work across different temperature-controlled environments, including ambient and freezer areas
n
Load approximately 3-4 freezer trucks per shift, with freezer exposure limited to a maximum of 1 hour per truck load
n
Work comfortably in temperatures as low as -22°C (freezer jackets provided; candidates are encouraged to bring their own jackets. Safety boots are not provided)
n




Maintain housekeeping and warehouse cleanliness standards
n
Work independently and efficiently once trained
n
Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and perform well in a fast-paced environment
n
Maintain a high level of attention to detail
n
Utilise sound computer, numeracy, and literacy skills in daily operation
n
Experience & Requirements n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience operating counterbalance forklifts
n
Valid forklift licence
n
Experience in warehouse operations, including receipting, dispatch, RF scanning, stock control, and inventory movements
n
Experience within food manufacturing environments is highly regarded but not essential
n
Own reliable transport
n
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training
n
Strong work ethic with a positive and proactive attitude
n
Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing operational demands
n
Flexible availability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts, including on-call work when required
n
Willingness to work overtime, cover absences, and work weekends when required.
