Job Description
This is a hands- on position responsible for surface preparation of structural steel and fabricated components. You will play a key role in ensuring all work meets required quality standards and deadlines.

This role is based at our Black Hill facility, featuring a state-of-the-art blast chamber, air filtration system and overhead cranes.
Key Repsonsibilities n
Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting) to prepare surfaces for coating
n
Ensure all work meets quality specifications and project requirements
n
Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
n
Follow safe work procedures and workplace health & safety requirements
n
Assist with general paint shop duties as required
n
Maintain a clean and organised work enviroment
n
Minimise material waste and use resources efficiently
n
Complete timesheets and required documentation
About You n
Experience in sandblasting
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices
n
Reliable, punctual, and string work ethic
