With more than 1,800 members, a course recognised among Australia's finest and a beautifully restored Clubhouse, The Barwon Heads Golf Club offers a range of dining experiences for members, guests and visitors, including Clubhouse dining, functions and special events.

We are seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team and help prepare fresh, seasonal, high-quality food in a professional and supportive setting.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING n
Working under the guidance of the Head Chef and senior kitchen team, you will help deliver high-quality food experiences across the Club's diverse dining operations. From clubhouse dining and premium à la carte service through to functions and special events, you will support food preparation, service delivery, food safety and the day-to-day operation of the kitchen while continuing to develop your culinary skills.

Availability across weekdays, weekends and public holidays will be required.
THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR n
n
Preparing ingredients and supporting meal service under the direction of senior chefs.
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe kitchen environment.
n
Assisting with deliveries,



stock rotation and food safety documentation.
n
Contributing to a calm, efficient and team-oriented kitchen culture.
n
Supporting consistency and quality in food presentation and service.
n
Adhering to food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING n
n
At least one year's experience working in a commercial kitchen.
n
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or currently working towards completion).
n
Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
n
A proactive, reliable and skilled work ethic.
n
The ability to remain calm and focused in a quick-paced environment.
n
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and support the needs of the kitchen operation.
