About the Role
You'll be working closely with the Local Sales team in Tamworth to manage and grow a key portfolio.
Driving new revenue growth for The Northern Daily Leader, you will provide tailored advertising solutions to local businesses, helping them effectively reach our regional audience.
This is a hand-on role that offers both independence in the field and collaboration with the broader team, providing space to grow your skills and career.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage and grow existing accounts to consistently hit weekly, monthly, and quarterly print and digital revenue targets.
Prospect for current business via networking, cold calling, and building relationships with local decision-makers.
Develop and present strategic, persuasive marketing proposals tailored directly to customer needs and objectives.
Consult with clients regularly to evaluate their marketing strategies and identify cross-sell opportunities across the ACM network.
Represent the masthead professionally by actively engaging with local business groups and community events.
What You'll Bring
Essential:



A minimum of 3-5 years of face-to-face sales experience with a proven track record of managing accounts and closing deals.
Essential: Strong strategic marketing ability and the confidence to negotiate and present comprehensive solutions.
Essential: A self-driven approach with excellent organisational skills, plus a current valid driver's license and well-maintained vehicle.
Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in business or marketing, CRM experience, and a strong base of local industry contacts.
