**About the role**We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated **Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Registered Nurses (RNs)** with general medical experience to join our experienced team on **St Lukes Medical Ward**, a busy and supportive 30-bed medical ward.
As a valued member of our friendly and approachable team, you will work collaboratively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate and high-quality patient care.
You will contribute to the effective assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care, while promoting positive patient outcomes and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
We are looking for nurses who are compassionate, team-focused and committed to delivering excellent care to patients within a general medical setting.
**One Permanent part-time role** and **casual positions** are currently available.
Applications will continue to be considered for all positions as they become available over the next four months across all SJG Hospitals and Services.
**Key responsibilities*** Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.




* Function within legal and registration constraints in relation to enrolled nursing practice.
* Maintain and develop clinical skills in order to deliver patient care appropriate to level of competence.
* Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
* Adhere to and support hospital policies, procedures and standards.
* Act as the patient's advocate and protect the rights of individuals.
* Provide patient education and participate in discharge planning, where applicable or as required.
* Promote and contribute to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
**Your skills and experience**You will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.
You will demonstrate commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

**We can offer you*** **Enrolled Nurse Salary**: $72,637 to $94,929 (pro rata for part-time),
