Position Information: n
We are currently seeking an aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our Bellingen Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.
n

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: n
n
Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
n
Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
n
Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
n
Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
n
Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
n
What we look for:



n
n
Certificate III in Aged Care
n
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
n
Previous experience in an aged care setting
n
An enthusiastic and motivated approach
n
Current First Aid Certificate
n
Must be eligible to work in Australia.
