Join a high-performing engineering team within a prominent Federal Government department, driving critical infrastructure, platform, and cloud modernization initiatives across enterprise environments.
Play a pivotal role in assessing, designing, and configuring secure hybrid infrastructure patterns as the department transitions to a cloud-ready Microsoft Entra ID platform and Zero Trust framework.

Role & Responsibilities
Assess and document infrastructure, platform, and cloud dependencies affecting identity synchronisation, modern authentication, and application migration sequencing.
Design, implement, and maintain secure hybrid infrastructure patterns across Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, retained legacy services, and target integrations.
Evaluate endpoint and access impacts across hybrid-joined devices, Intune co-management, Windows Hello for Business, Citrix, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and remote-access services.
Prepare, configure, and manage development, test, UAT, and production environments required for integration testing and migration rehearsals.
Coordinate network, firewall, DNS, certificate, proxy, load-balancing,
and connectivity requirements for application SSO migrations.
Automate repeatable configuration activities using standard scripting practices while developing detailed as-built documentation, SOPs, controlled deployment run sheets, and recovery plans.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:
Technical Toolkit:
Deep technical expertise across Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, AD FS, MIM, Microsoft Intune, Windows Hello for Business, Citrix/VDI, SASE/Zero Trust frameworks, and core network controls (DNS, firewalls, load balancers, certificates).
Experience:
Extensive experience as a Senior Infrastructure or Cloud Engineer evaluating, configuring, and supporting complex hybrid enterprise infrastructure and identity transitions within large-scale or government environments.
Core Capabilities:
Proven capability in infrastructure automation, environment configuration, controlled deployment execution, operational handover, and technical troubleshooting.

must hold a current Baseline security clearance
