We areseekinga team-oriented and customer-focused Functional Analyst to provide functional support, business
analysisexpertiseand
stakeholder engagement across a diverse range of enterprise applications.
About the role n
Reporting to the Lead Analyst, you will act as the vital link between business users, service owners, vendorsand technical teams.You'lldevelop a strong understanding of Council's business applications and processes, helping to resolve issues, support enhancements, gather requirements and improve system outcomes across the organisation.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
Providing day-to-day functional support and troubleshooting for business applications.
n
Gathering,analysingand
documenting business and functional requirements.
n
Conducting process mapping,
impactassessmentsand
gap analysis activities.
n
Supporting system changes,testingand implementation activities.
n
Developing andmaintaininguser guides,
processdocumentationand
other functional artefacts.
n
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Council and external vendors.
n
Providingtrusted advice on application
functionality,enhancementsand




business process improvements.
n
Contributing to system
roadmaps,upgradesand
continuous improvement initiatives.
About you n
We'relooking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
n
You will bring:
n
Experience in a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst,
ApplicationSupportor
similar role.
n
Strong understanding of how business processes are enabled by technology.
n
Experience troubleshooting application issues and coordinating resolutions.
n
Proven capability in requirements gathering, documentation and business analysis.
n
Experience with process mapping,testingand supporting system change.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
A strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement.
n
The ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes.
n
Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate.
n
ERP and/or CRM platforms.
n
Local government or public sector environments.
n
Enterprise systems commonly used within local government.
n
