Job Description
Established in ****, The Duke of Wellington is Melbourne's oldest licensed pub and one of the city's most iconic hospitality venues. With a talented crew, a buzzing atmosphere, and a huge functions season just around the corner, there has never been a better time to join the team. We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our already well-established management team. As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll work side by side with the Venue Manager to help drive the day-to-day operations of the venue. From leading the team on the floor and keeping the venue running smoothly, you'll play a key role in the continued success of this historic pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who loves fast-paced venues, enjoys leading from the front, and is ready to take the next step in their career within one of Melbourne's most recognized pubs.

Essential requirements n
n
2+ years of Management experience in a similar venue
n
Experience working in a fast-paced Food & beverage venue
n
Strong Beverage knowledge
n
Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems
n
Presence on the floor during peak service periods,
including late nights and weekends
n
Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
n
Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
n
Hold a current VIC RSA
n
