About the Opportunity n
An opportunity has arisen for an Underground Structural Technician to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Senior Structural Geologist and operates on an 8:6 (days) and 7:7 (nights) roster.
n
Your focus will be on collecting and processing geospatial data using advanced laser technology to support mine design, planning, and geological modelling.
n
Your primary responsibilities will include:
n

Coordinating with mining operations to ensure access to headings for data capture.
n
Washing down headings and setting up geotechnical equipment safely.
n
Performing survey resections, LiDAR, and other scans for geotechnical assessments.
n
Monitoring and recording ground support quality, including time-based deterioration.
n
Assisting with core logging for structural and rock mass analysis.
n
About You n
Our ideal candidate will have exposure to underground mining environments,



preferably as a mine, geotechnical, or geological technician.
n
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
n
n
A high level of physical fitness.
n
Comfortable working autonomously for extended periods.
n
Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
n
Current C-class manual driver's licence.
