As an
Event Support Underwriter
, you'll be the face of Shannons at major automotive events while supporting our specialist Motor Enthusiast Underwriting team. Combining sales, customer engagement and underwriting, this is a rare chance to build a career where no two weeks look the same.

What you'll be doing n
You'll split your time between attending motoring events across and supporting customers over the phone.
n
You'll:
n
n
Represent Shannons at major motoring events, showroom activations and local car club gatherings.
n
Build relationships with motoring enthusiasts and create memorable customer experiences.
n
Introduce customers to our specialist insurance products and generate quality sales leads.
n
Support our Motor Enthusiast Underwriting team by providing tailored insurance solutions over the phone.
n
Work closely with our Events, Marketing and Underwriting teams to bring the Shannons brand to life.
n
What we're looking for n
You'll thrive in this role if you:
n
n
Have experience in sales, retail, customer service, automotive, events or another customer-facing environment.
n
Love meeting new people and building genuine relationships.
n
Are confident starting conversations and identifying customer needs.
n




Have a genuine interest in cars or the motoring community.
n
Hold a current unrestricted driver's licence.
n
Are happy to travel and work a flexible roster, including weekends, as part of our event calendar.
n
What you need to know n
This isn't a traditional Monday to Friday role-and that's part of what makes it so unique.
n
You'll attend around
50+ motoring events each year
, including Supercars, Raceway, Cooly Rocks On, Shannons Showroom events and local car club events.
n
Your event schedule is planned around
six weeks in advance
. Event hours can vary depending on the event, with some events requiring attendance from
as early as 5:00am through to 5:00pm
. When supporting customers over the phone, your start window will generally be between
8:00am and 11:00am
.

Weekend work is balanced with
two consecutive weekdays off
, and company vehicles are provided for travel to events.
