ForHealth Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate
Skin Cancer / General Practitioner
to join our medical team in Epping, VIC ****. This is a
part-time position
that offers the flexibility to balance professional commitments with personal priorities. In this role, you will provide comprehensive general practice services with a specialisation in skin cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare to our diverse patient population, combining general medical expertise with specialised dermatological and skin cancer knowledge to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities n
n
Conducting full-skin examinations and providing expert assessment, diagnosis and management of skin lesions and suspected skin cancers
n
Performing minor surgical procedures, including skin biopsies and lesion removals, utilising appropriate techniques and safety protocols
n
Providing preventative care advice and skin cancer screening services to patients at risk
n
Managing general practice consultations, including acute and chronic disease management, health maintenance and preventative medicine
n
Maintaining accurate and timely medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
n
Collaborating with dermatologists and other specialists when complex cases require secondary referral or additional expertise
n
Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices within the practice
n
Providing patient education on skin health,

Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development
n
What we're looking for n
n
Current registration with the Australian Medical Board and AHPRA as a General Practitioner
n
Valid Australian General Practice training qualification (FRACGP or equivalent)
n
Demonstrated expertise or specialised training in skin cancer diagnosis and management
n
Proficiency in minor surgical procedures and dermatological techniques
n
Strong clinical knowledge of melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers and benign skin lesions
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information in an accessible manner to patients
n
High level of clinical competence, attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
n
Current vaccination status and commitment to infection control standards
n
Experience with electronic medical records and practice management systems
n
Preferred: Advanced training or certificate qualifications in dermatology or skin cancer medicine
