About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior Python Developer to join a growing technology team building scalable software products and data-driven platforms.
You will work closely with product managers, software engineers and data specialists to design, develop and maintain high-quality applications.
This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to influence technical decisions and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Work with engineering and product teams to deliver new features
Integrate internal platforms with third-party systems and services
Develop automated testing and improve code quality
Troubleshoot and optimise application performance
Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
Participate in code reviews and support engineering best practices
Work with cloud infrastructure and modern CI/CD pipelines
About You
The successful candidate will have:
4 years of commercial software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Python
Experience developing REST APIs and backend services
Strong understanding of software engineering principles
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Exposure to AWS, Azure or another major cloud platform
Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of testing and development best practices
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
