ModuSpec is seeking additional experienced
BOP Surveyors
to support inspection, verification and rig intake projects across Australia and the wider region, in line with growing demand.
Role n
The BOP Surveyor will provide independent assurance of well control equipment, supporting safe and compliant drilling operations.
n
Responsibilities include:
n
n
Inspection and verification of BOP systems and associated equipment
n
Review of maintenance systems, certification and technical documentation
n
Witnessing and verification of function and pressure testing
n
Support to rig intake, commissioning and operational assurance scopes
n
Identification and reporting of equipment condition and integrity issues
n
Preparation of daily reports and final client deliverables
n
Liaison with offshore and onshore personnel as an independent representative
n
Requirements n
n




Proven experience working with BOP systems within drilling operations
n
Robust understanding of BOP components, control systems, and testing practices
n
Experience reviewing maintenance records and certification documentation
n
Background with a drilling contractor, OEM, or inspection/service provider
n
Strong reporting skills and attention to detail
n
Willingness to travel across Australia and internationally
n
n
Relevant industry training and previous surveyor or inspection experience are preferred.
