Job Description

Full time appointment on a fixed term basis for 4 months.
n
Base salary range: $99,040 – $104,669 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area n
The Office of Research supports The University of Western Australia's research community and external partners in the pursuit of high-quality, impactful and trusted research. Within the Office of Research, the Research Infrastructure & Partnerships team provides business development and operational support to ensure world-class research infrastructure is available to researchers and industry.
n
The team works across a diverse portfolio of research facilities, infrastructure initiatives, partnerships and funding programs, helping to strengthen collaboration, maximise research capability and support strategic investment in research infrastructure.
About the opportunity n
n
Coordinate and support projects that contribute to the University's research infrastructure priorities, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently and stakeholder outcomes are achieved.
n
Provide high-level administrative and governance support, including committee coordination, reporting, business case development, funding submissions and contract administration.
n
Support stakeholder engagement, communications and events that showcase UWA's research infrastructure capabilities to researchers, industry partners and the broader research community.
n
About you n
n
Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
n
Demonstrated experience preparing reports, briefings and business documentation, with the ability to analyse information and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
n
Proven experience administering programs, projects or initiatives in a service-oriented environment with strong stakeholder management skills.
n
Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, show initiative and consistently meet deadlines.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets and online information management systems; experience in event coordination, communications, marketing or research administration will be highly regarded.
n
