Machine Operators / Forklift Operators
for morning and afternoon-shift positions in Redbank.
n
These roles involve operating manufacturing equipment and forklifts while handling steel mesh and reinforcing products within a busy production, warehouse and yard environment.
Key Responsibilities n

Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
n
n
Operating a forklift to move steel products and materials
n
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n
n
Handling steel mesh and reinforcing products
n
n
Moving materials throughout production, warehouse and yard areas
n
n
Preparing materials for production and dispatch
n
n
Assisting production and dispatch teams
n
n
Monitoring machinery during operation
n
n
Completing pre-start equipment inspections
n
n
Reporting equipment faults and safety concerns
n
n
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
n
n
Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
Skills and Experience Required n
n
n
Current
LF Forklift Licence
n
n
Previous forklift-operating experience
n
n
Previous machine-operating experience
n
n
Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
n
Experience handling steel, reinforcing products or construction materials
n
n
Previous manufacturing, production or yard experience
n
n
Strong understanding of safe materials-handling procedures
n
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
n
Reliable transport and availability for morning or afternoon shifts
n
n
Robust attendance record and commitment to workplace safety
n
n
Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment
