About The Role n
This is a senior appointment withagenuine leadership role.You will have responsibility for the practicegroup, its key
clientrelationshipsand
deliverables.The rolewould suit an established Partner or Special Counsel, or a Senior Associate alreadyoperatingat that level.
What You'll Do n
n
Lead theLitigation, Recoveries & Insolvency practice group.
n
Set strategy and oversee the conduct of all matters.
n
Advise onsecured and
unsecuredrecoverymatters,
including mortgage enforcement, PPSR issues,andpriority disputes.
n
Advise onfront-end lending and securitymatters, including mortgages, caveats and other lending and security documentation.
n
Ensure that files
areprogressedefficiently
and commercially in a fast-paced national portfolio.
n
Lead and develop the lawyers in the group, shaping how the team works and grows
n
Contribute to the growth of the practice through the development of existing client relationships and, whereappropriate,



the introduction of new clients and work.
n
What You'll Bring n

A substantial background incommercial litigation,with a demonstrated ability toleadsignificant and complex matters.
n
Strong
technicalexpertise,
withsignificantexperiencein
insolvency,recoveriesand
enforcement, including exposure to mortgage
enforcement,PPSRand
priority disputes.
n
Experienceinleading
and
developingjuniorlawyers.
n
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a proactive approach to progressing matters and keeping clients informed.
n
Theconfidence and
judgementtomaintainstrong
client relationships.
n
A background acting for lendersand insolvency practitionerswould be particularly relevant.
n
