About the opportunity
St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our Food Services team on a casual basis.

About you
You're someone who enjoys preparing quality food, takes pride in your work and understands the impact a good meal can have on a patient's day.
You'll bring:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent recognised qualification
Current Food Safety/Food Handling certification
Minimum two years' experience in a cooking role
Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
Robust knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, infection control and food safety practices
Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements and safe manual handling practices
Previous experience within healthcare or aged care environments (desirable)
Availability to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
