We are looking for a Commercial Lawyer (2-4 PQE) to join our growing team and develop their expertise across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
The Opportunity n
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career commercial lawyer to work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers while taking on increasing responsibility for their own matters.

You will gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality work, build strong client relationships and further develop your technical and commercial skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Managing commercial matters appropriate to your level of experience, with support and guidance from senior lawyers
n
Advising clients on a range of commercial and corporate matters
n
Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements and transaction documents
n
Assisting on business sales and acquisitions, corporate restructures and other commercial transactions
n
Conducting legal research and preparing advice for clients
n
Building robust relationships with clients and colleagues
n
Contributing to business development and networking initiatives
n




About You n
You will have:
n
n
2-4 years' PQE in commercial law within an Australian private practice environment
n
Experience or exposure to some of the following areas:
n
Business, asset and share sales
n
Commercial contracts and agreements
n
Corporate structures and governance
n
Shareholder and unitholder agreements
n
Franchise and licensing arrangements
n
Corporations Act compliance
n
Advising businesses and not-for-profit organisations
n
Commercial disputes and shareholder disputes
n
Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
A commercially focused and practical approach to legal advice
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
A willingness to learn, develop and take on increasing responsibility
n
Confidence using legal technology and practice management systems
n
