Job DescriptionMake a Difference at Eastern Guruma
We are seeking a passionate, motivated and people-focusedMentorto join our team atEastern Guruma.
In this rewarding role, you will work closely with employees across site, providing guidance, coaching and practical support to help them succeed in their roles and achieve their career goals.
You will play an important role in building trusted relationships, supporting employee development and helping foster a positive, inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong, respectful and trusting relationships with employees and mentees.
Provide guidance, coaching and practical support to help employees overcome workplace challenges and build confidence.




Support the onboarding and integration of current employees, including welcoming current starters and assisting with site orientation.
Assist employees with goal setting, development plans and performance improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with Project Managers, supervisors and site leadership teams to support employee development.
Maintain regular communication and provide reports on mentoring activities, outcomes and employee progress.
Participate in site meetings, toolbox talks and team discussions.
Encourage a culture of inclusion, respect, accountability and continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities to support employee growth, engagement and long-term success.
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You
Must be an Indigenous Australian
Must hold a current and valid driver's licence
Certificate IV in Leadership and Mentoring (or similar) is desirable
Minimum 3 years' experience in mentoring, coaching or a similar role
Robust communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
Empathy, patience and a genuine passion for supporting others
Solid problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Comfortable working across site environments
