We're looking for aSales Assistantto join ourTaubmans Trade Centre in Capalabaand become part of a team that takes pride in building genuine relationships and delivering great customer experiences every day.
No paint experience?
No problem!
If you've worked in retail, hospitality, trade supply, customer service or another hands-on environment and enjoy helping people, we'll teach you everything else.
The setup
Full-time permanent position (38 hours per week)
Monday to Friday roster between 6:30am and 4:30pm
Occasional Saturday shifts between 7:00am and 11:30am
Based at our Capalaba Trade Centre
Full product and systems training provided

How you'll make an impact
Every day looks a little different, but you'll play an important role in creating a great experience for every customer who walks through the door.
You'll:
Welcome and assist customers with friendly, knowledgeable service
Build relationships with trade and retail customers
Tint and mix paint products to customer requirements
Support colour matching and product recommendations
Prepare customer orders for collection and delivery
Assist with deliveries using the company vehicle when required
Help maintain stock levels, store presentation and merchandising standards
Support the Store Manager and wider team with day-to-day operations
Maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace

Are eager to learn new skills and develop product knowledge
Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Are comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the day
Hold a valid driver's licence
Take pride in delivering great customer service
Experience in retail, customer service, hardware, trade supply, warehousing or a similar customer-facing workplace will be highly regarded, but it's not essential.
Paint experience isnotrequired.
