About the International Eucharistic Congress (Eucharist28)
Eucharist28 is a global event held by the Catholic Church that focuses on the celebration of the Eucharist.
Sydney has been named as the host of the next Congress which will be held in **** and the event is expected to draw tens of thousands of people from all over the world alongside hundreds of thousands of Australians.
The **** Congress marks the centenary of Australia's first International Eucharistic Congress, held in Sydney in ****.
Last hosted in Australia in ****, and celebrated every four years in a different location around the world, the Congress will once again place Sydney at the global focal point of the Catholic Church, with the ambition of renewing Christian life and to encourage participation in the life and mission of the Church.
The Archdiocese of Sydney, the coordinator of the Congress, is seeking an exceptional marketing professional with a deep commitment to the Church's mission to take up the challenge of delivering a successful event.
About the Role
The Digital Engagement and CRM Manager will lead the practical use of Eucharist28's digital platforms to grow audiences, strengthen engagement and support participants before, during and after the Congress.
We are seeking a hands-on expert in CRM and digital marketing tools who can turn platform capabilities into effective campaigns, personalised communications and useful insights.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Partnerships, you will be the functional lead for HubSpot, the website, Funraisin and related engagement platforms.
You will build audience segments, configure automated workflows, manage digital content and data capture, and develop dashboards that support marketing, registrations, fundraising and participant communications.
You will work closely with external technology partners and Archdiocesan ICT, translating business requirements into clear briefs and coordinating enhancements, testing and issue resolution.
These partners will provide the specialist development, integration and technical infrastructure support, while you lead the platforms' day-to-day use and effectiveness.
This is a full-time fixed-term position until December ****.
About You
You are a practical digital specialist who enjoys improving systems as much as interpreting the data they produce.
You can connect technical detail with audience needs, explain digital concepts clearly and work collaboratively to resolve issues, enhance journeys and deliver dependable reporting.
Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:
Demonstrated experience administering and optimising CRM and marketing automation platforms, particularly HubSpot.
Experience managing websites, digital platforms and integrated marketing technologies.
Strong understanding of audience segmentation, workflow automation, digital engagement and conversion strategies.
Demonstrated ability to analyse data, develop dashboards and reports, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Experience supporting audience growth, digital campaigns, registrations, fundraising or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, security and data quality principles.
Demonstrated experience coordinating technology vendors, digital projects and platform enhancements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Tertiary qualifications in Digital Marketing, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline (preferable).
Demonstrated commitment to, or willingness to develop an understanding of, the mission, teachings and values of the Catholic Church.

Applicants must have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, and must have a current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
