You'll monitor, investigate and respond to security events, and help the agency lift its maturity against the Essential Eight.The work is on site in a secure workplace, so this role can't be done from home.
In return, you'll work in a capable team that invests in training.
The team is eight analysts and two senior engineers.

such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk* Incident response experience* Familiarity with the Information Security Manual and the Essential Eight* A current Baseline security clearance (security clearances require Australian citizenship)* Clear incident write-ups for technical and non-technical readers### What's on offer* $120,000 to $135,000 + super* Paid certifications and a yearly training budget* Canberra City office, Monday to Friday, on site* An allowance for weeks on the after-hours roster### Worth knowingSecurity operations includes an after-hours roster, about one week in five, with an allowance.
Clearances take months to process, so this role is open only to people who already hold a current Baseline clearance or higher.
