Welcome to Walcha Council
Walcha Council, small Council, big opportunities.
Walcha is a small regional council with a big geographic footprint and a strong sense of who it is.
What sets it apart is how it works as much as what it delivers.
Staff regularly go beyond what's expected, whether that's delivering wraparound services across every stage of life or taking care of the small, practical things that matter to people.
It's a place where people step in, take ownership and get things done.
It's also a council on the move.
Several senior leaders have joined in the past 6 to 12 months with a clear mandate to strengthen capability, modernise systems and lift how Council operates and presents itself.
This isn't an organisation standing still, and you'll be part of shaping what comes next.
