Holy Spirit, Dubbo, a Residential Aged Care home, is seeking a reliable and caring Catering Assistant who may be open to a Housekeeping shift also to join our friendly hospitality team. In this hands‐on role, you'll support daily food services and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.
What you'll be doing: n
n
Assisting with meal preparation, plating, and service
n
Maintaining kitchen, servery, and dining area cleanliness
n
Following food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
n
Supporting residents with warm, respectful meal service
n
Working collaboratively with chefs and care team
n
About you: n
n
A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
n
Solid communication skills and a positive attitude
n
Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
- desirable but not essential
n
Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
n
Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
n
Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
n
NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
n
Ability to work flexible casual shifts
