About the Role n
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Transport Company Manager
to oversee and manage our day-to-day transport operations. This is a senior operational role responsible for fleet management, compliance, scheduling, and client coordination to ensure efficient and safe transport services.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Organising the purchase, maintenance, and servicing of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel supplies.
n
Liaising with clients to determine transport requirements and providing advice on vehicle types, service arrangements, rates, and customer obligations, including resolving complaints.
n
Receiving and managing transport orders and bookings, and planning, coordinating, and implementing transportation schedules.
n
Ensuring goods are stored, handled, and transported in conditions that maintain their quality and integrity.
n
Arranging and overseeing the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods in line with operational requirements.
n




Maintaining business records and preparing operational statements, reports, and performance summaries.
n
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
n
Ensuring transport operations comply with occupational health and safety requirements and relevant transport regulations.
n
Skills and Experience Required n
n
Minimum
1 year of relevant experience
in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.
n
Strong understanding of transport compliance, vehicle maintenance, and scheduling.
n
Proven organisational and people-management skills.
n
Ability to manage operational reporting and business records.
n
Relevant qualification in transport, logistics, or supply chain management is desirable.
n
Proficiency in fleet management tools and software.
n
