We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marketing andCommunications Officer to join our Strategy, Marketing andCommunications team.
n
In this role, you will develop and deliver strategic marketingand communication initiatives that increase community awareness andengagement with the City's projects, services, programs and events.You will create compelling content across a range of channels,develop marketing campaigns, coordinate corporate branding andcollateral, and support the City's digital and social mediapresence.
n
You will also support the City's media communications, includingdrafting media releases, speeches, media responses, key messagesand other communication materials that help protect and promote theCity's reputation.
n
You are a solid communicator with exceptional writing, editingand proofreading skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability tomanage multiple projects and competing priorities. You thrive in acollaborative environment and enjoy finding creative ways toconnect communities with meaningful information.
n
Experience in local government, corporate communications orpublic relations environments will be highly regarded.
n
To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria when submitting your onlineapplication:

Degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations orrelated discipline (please attach a copy to yourapplication)
n
Excellent proofreading, editing and copywriting skills
n
Experience preparing media releases, speeches, mediaresponses and other stakeholder communication materials
n
High level experience in developing and
implementingmarketing
and communication campaigns to drive communityawareness
n




Excellent knowledge of digital and social media platformsas communications and marketing tools
n
Excellent experience in the development of
corporatecollateral
and branding
n
Sound knowledge of the graphic design and
publicationprocesses
and document layout
n
Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in MicrosoftOffice, Canva, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Photoshop
n

We are offering a remuneration package from
$94,367 to$101,357
per annum (pro-rata), depending on skills andexperience. An information package, including the
