$33–$38 per hour + super, depending on experience

High Street Dental Practice is looking for an
experienced, friendly and reliable Dental Receptionist
to join our team in Kangaroo Flat.
n
This is primarily a
front-desk reception position
. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, is confident on the phone, can manage a busy appointment book and is comfortable taking responsibility for the smooth running of reception.
n
As we are a small dental team, the role will also involve assisting with sterilisation and instrument processing when required.
About the role n
Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming patients and managing the front desk
n
n
Answering telephone enquiries confidently and professionally
n
n
Booking and managing patient appointments
n
n
Processing payments
n
n
Managing recalls and following up patients
n
n
Communicating with patients regarding appointments and treatment
n
n
Keeping the reception area organised and running smoothly
n
n
Assisting with sterilisation and instrument processing when required
n
About you n
A minimum of 1 year of front-desk reception experience in a healthcare or professional setting is required.
n

Comfortable working in a busy front-desk environment

Willing to pitch in with general practice tasks during busy periods

Looking for a secure, longer-term position
n
n
Previous
dental reception experience
is highly regarded.
n
Experience with
Dental4Windows
or another dental practice management system would also be an advantage, but is not essential.
n
Training in our practice systems and sterilisation procedures can be provided.

Availability requirement:
Applicants must be available to work across our operating hours,
Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm
. Hours will be rostered within this window.
