Jamin O'Donnell Concreting Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Concreting Site Supervisor to join our team and take a leading role in the day-to-day running of our projects.
n
We are an established concreting company servicing Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounding areas, completing a variety of residential, commercial and shed concreting works.
n
We have a strong pipeline of work and are looking for the right person to help lead our crews, organise sites and maintain the high standard of workmanship our business is known for.
n
This is a hands‐on supervisory position. We are looking for someone who knows concreting, can lead from the front and isn't afraid to jump on the tools when required.
THE ROLE n
As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing concreting projects from site preparation through to completion.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading and supervising concreters and labourers on site
n
Planning and coordinating daily site activities
n
Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and set-outs
n
Organising site preparation, boxing/formwork and reinforcement
n
Coordinating concrete pours and finishing operations
n
Allocating tasks and keeping crews productiveEnsuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
n
Monitoring workmanship and quality control
n
Coordinating with management, customers, builders, suppliers and subcontractors
n
Ensuring materials, equipment and machinery are organised for upcoming works
n
Conducting pre‐starts and maintaining safe work practices
n
Identifying and resolving site issues before they become delays
n
Keeping management informed of job progress, labour requirements and upcoming works
n
Working on the tools alongside the crew when required
n
ABOUT YOU n
We're looking for someone who has genuine concreting experience and the confidence to run a site and lead a crew.

Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Extensive hands‐on concreting experience
n
Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman or Site Supervisor
n
Strong knowledge of boxing, formwork, reinforcement, pouring and finishing concrete
n
Ability to read plans and understand levels and set-outs
n
Strong organisational and problem‐solving skills
n
Ability to manage a crew and keep jobs moving
n
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
n
Good communication and leadership skills
n
A robust understanding of WHS and site safety
n
Current driver's licence
n
Construction White Card
n
Reliable and professional attitude
n
Experience operating earthmoving equipment and machinery would also be highly regarded.
n
THE PERSON WE WANT n
We're not looking for someone who simply wants the title of Supervisor.
n
We want someone who can take ownership of a job.
n
You should be able to arrive on site, understand what needs to happen, organise the crew, identify potential problems and keep the project moving without needing constant direction.
n
You will need to be comfortable holding your team accountable while also working alongside them.
n
