Job Description
MST Lawyers is looking for a Lawyer/Associate at 2 – 4 years post qualification experience to join our busy Dispute Resolution and Litigation team practice.

We have seen growth in work volumes recently and would like to have a suitably qualified candidate join the team.
n
The team is led by a senior partner who has a history of spending time mentoring and developing the skills of juniors to assist them develop into experienced lawyers who have all the skills necessary to act independently.
n
MST offers hands on mentoring from an experienced senior principal, a good range of quality dispute files in the commercial, commercial leasing, franchising and building and construction spaces.
n

The successful candidate will ideally have the following:
n
n
A genuine interest in commercial litigation matters and a valuable technical knowledge of the law;
n
A history of working on commercial litigation matters, ideally with a mix of supervised files as well as files where the candidate has taken the lead;
n
Experience running their own compulsory conferences and mediations;
n
A history of good client management and communication;
n
A history of working with barristers;
n
Some experience with personal and general marketing; and
n
Good interpersonal skills and experience with electronic file management systems.

The firm is open-minded to lawyers outside the PQE bracket that have in-depth experience. Whilst the role is targeted towards a Lawyer or Associate, we will consider lawyers below and above that title.
