We are currently seeking an experienced
Forklift Operator
to join a leading precast concrete manufacturing yard, operating a
16-Tonne LF Forklift
. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused and reliable operator who enjoys working in a rapid-paced industrial environment.
About the Role n
As a 16-Tonne Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, and storage of large precast concrete products throughout the yard and production areas. You will play a critical role, and will be working closely with production and dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Operate a 16-tonne forklift safely and efficiently
n
Load and unload precast concrete products to trucks and trailers
n
Move concrete panels, molds and other precast products throughout the yard
n
Assist with dispatch and receivals activities
n
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
n
Follow all site safety procedures and policies
n
Work alongside production and yard teams to meet daily targets
n
Maintain a clean and organised work area
n
Report equipment faults and safety concerns promptly
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts (16-tonne preferred)
n
Experience working in precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, steel, or heavy industrial environments (highly advantageous)
n
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
n
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
Reliable transport and strong attendance record
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Highly Regarded n

Dogging or Rigging Tickets
n
Experience handling oversized or heavy construction products
n
Previous experience in a precast concrete yard
n
