Lilac Health is seeking dedicated paediatric speech pathologistto join our growing multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with diverse developmental needs.
This role offers flexibility and autonomy while being supported within a collaborative family-centred environment.
You will work closely with our Paediatrician, Psychologists, Dietitian and Occupational Therapists to provide integrated and meaningful care.
About the Role In this role, you will: Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders Tailor, goal-oriented therapy programs aligned with each client's individual strengths, interests, and goals.
Utilise AAC systems, technology-based supports, and creative therapy approaches Deliver interventions targeting articulation, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia management Collaborate with families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to empower children and young people This is an excellent opportunity for early career clinicians looking to start their own private practice with the support of a medical team and assured patient and client flow under a shared care model.
What We're Looking For We're seeking an speech pathologist who Has the ability to practice independently Has experience in paediatric practice Values family centered work Will thrive in a collaborative, supportive team environment Has a growth mindset Has some experience with working within the NDIS framework.
Are passionate about working with children and young people Are skilled in building rapport with children and families Are organised, self-motivated and committed to ethical practice Has knowledge and experience in the support of children on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental delays.
