We are looking for passionate graduates who want to make a real difference in the lives of those they treat, to join our one-year Graduate Program at our
Canberra
office.
You'llwork with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting your clients on their journey to return to work and return to life after physical or psychological injury.
Our Graduate Program will provide you with a well-rounded knowledge base with fortnightly technical training to accelerate your career, with 1-1 mentorship from a senior clinician along the way to make sure you are supported as you learn.
Everyday can look different at APM... butas a Graduate Occupational Therapist,you will be:
Completing office-based and vehicle ergonomic assessments
Activities of Daily Living assessments for equipment or household services prescription
Conducting worksite assessments to interpret the physical demands and environment your client may work in and to understand what duties they can complete to achieve their short-term and long-term return-to-work goals
Completing functionalcapacityevaluations
Collaborating with other health practitioners (including other Allied Health professionals,GPsand Surgeons) through case conferencing
Organisingrehabilitation activities for your client incl.
Pilates, Hydrotherapy, etc.
Reviewing andanalysingmedicalreportse.g.
MRIs, X-Rays, etc.
